+1 for an expander as noise gate of some kind. Also --- even if I don't know if mine is any typical use-case at all --- a notch or band-rejection filter for noise that is at a specific frequency might sometimes be helpful. No complaints about the usability for now from my side! Kind regards, Gunter.
