Ardour was playing a session a few times. Then I shut it down,
restarted it with anotehr session, was playing, then suddenly
terminates (eg. crashed) with a very short buzz sound, and the
following in /var/log/ directory:

Restarted Ardour. Ardour tells me that it crashed, asks me if I want
to recuperate the data or ignore. I choose 'ignore' since I was only
listening, did not do any mods. Ardour loaded was looks like a
previous snapshot (of days and days ago) when one 'effect
track' (sorry, do not have the words - that's whne a track displays not
audio, but the curves of a selected effect) was showing. Eg. Ardour
did not load the session that I was listening to. Mind you, no harm,
as all the audio tracks are the same, but not the exact same session.
