[Ardour-Users] cutting audio regions with no "dead space"

The way I'd approach this would be to make the cut as usual, then change
the grid mode on and set it to use region boundaries.  Grab the region 
on the right, drag it to the left, and it'll snap the beginning of the 
region on the right to the end of the region on the left.
