Moving to Norway might lessen this burden as all this is provided by
the state;). We don't have dental care paid for us, though.

Other than that, I can only suggest getting 3.0 out the door, making
it work on that other operating system, writing an appeal like Jimmy
Wales did[0] and putting it on the web page. 

I care very little for that other operating system, but making the
system work there is not evil in itself and it does represent a
substantial abuser base. Jack-2 already runs there, as I understand.

I donate regularly to Democracy Now and Wikimedia Foundation and I
subscribe to Ardour and the Free Software Foundation, even on my
students pay. These are good projects and I have many more I want to
support. We all expect growth in the free software domain and more
subscribing Ardour users.

The web page also needs to be more juicy, btw. Look at projects like
gimp[1] and blender[2]; they look juicy. Also, you know I hate those
ads;). Do they really represent an income?. 

Also, make the forum a gateway to the mailing list. It will make the
community more close, intensive and active.
