[Ardour-Users] subscription support down, your ideas sought

I use Ardour for a few years now and never downloaded it...
I use PlanetCCRMA. I don't know how many users install this great software
from repository like PlanetCCRMA... So what does the number of download
means?

I don't have a clue on how we could get attention from people to
subscribe. They choose Linux and OpenSource
software because it is free (and good) and then ask them to pay. (I'm an
engineer not a marketing bozo :-)

I subscribed to the monthly payment because I find that it worth every
penny.

We (the users of Ardour) need to expose every thing that we do with it,
and every forum, on every place...
We know the product and we are in a good place to "sell" it.

I better start doing what I just wrote... I have an account on
ReverNation to put some of the songs recorded with Ardour. I should put
an Ardour logo on my group page. And write what was done with Ardour,
and a link to Ardour's site. I'll try to do it this week-end.
