Not necessarily. The time between first songs end and next songs start is the 
break that is counting with negative numbers in the cd-player. You can hide 
rather long parts in that timeframe. That way you can hide for example the 
talking in between songs at a live-concert. People will hear it when 
listening from start to end, but it will be skipped when listening to it 
in "random" mode.
