that goes for any new users of linux audio in general that have basic
questions that they feel may be 'too basic' for a list.  Feel free to drop
me a line,  I'll help where I can and suggest resources where I can not.
I've been recording for about 15 years, and while I've used linux for
roughly the same (0.11pl2) I've only just gone over from pro tools HD a year
ago, so a lot of the transition phase is fresh in my head.
