[ardour-users] freebob and jack problem

hi to the list,
this is ot but it's very important to me because otherwise i've wasted 
400 $, i've got a terratec phase88 firewire supported by freebob, i've 
configured everything as shown on the freebob website but i get every 
time errors like if /dev/raw1394 would be busy or not present or not 
accesible, even startin jack from root.

dows anybody have a solutions or has a similar problem?
