Just a random thought...

One of the stated goals of the funds raised to support Ardour is to 
purchase items as needed to further its development.  Would there be any 
community interest in creating awish/need list for users to donate stuff
that's needed by the development team, or would the distributed nature of 
the development effort make that impractical?
