[ardour-users] Ardour2.0rc1 Crashes

Intermittent problem:

Ardour2.0rc1 crashes occasionally when one of the following occurs;
	1) The record enable button is pressed.
	2) The transport record is pressed followed by the transport play
button.

The crash is accompanied by a 'segmentation fault' error.

The crashes are not apparently consistent in their behaviour as I've had
it happen within a few minutes of starting Ardour up, and 20+ minutes
later. The crashes do not happen all of the time but they will only
occur as noted above.

System info:
Core 2 Duo 1.6 Ghz
1 Gb of Ram
Realtek ALC861-VD Audio

OS info:
Ubuntu 7.04
Low-Latency Kernel 2.6.20-14
qJackctl
Gnome Alsa graphical mixer

Jack settings
Frames/Period = 64
Sample Rate 44100
Periods/Buffer 3
Driver = alsa
Dither = none
Audio = Duplex mode.
Input and Output devices are both at 'hw:0'
2 Input Channels and 2 Output Channels.
