Hi all,
I have a connection problem in 2.0rc1, but this also occured in the
versions before.
If I try to open a session after changig the JACK ports (I switched to
the internal sound card without input ports), I get some errors because
of missing connections:
ardour: [ERROR]: Unknown connection "in 2" listed for input of Bass
ardour: [ERROR]: No input connections available as a replacement
ardour: [ERROR]: AudioEngine: cannot connect Bass/out 1
(ardour:Bass/out1) to ardour:Master/in 1 (ardour:Master/in 1)
ardour: [ERROR]: AudioEngine: cannot connect Bass/out 2
(ardour:Bass/out2) to ardour:Master/in 2 (ardour:Master/in 2)
ardour: [ERROR]: Unknown connection "in 2" listed for input of Bass
ardour: [ERROR]: No input connections available as a replacement
The actual problem is that not only the input connections are lost now,
but also the connection from Bass/out1/2 to the Master Bus. If I click
Output-Edit in the mixer strip, I have to add the channel outputs and
connect them to Master again to make it work - but then the level meter
does not work. in input/pre mode the strip is emtpy (even the meter
scale is missing), in post mode it doesn't show the level.
How can I fix this - and how can this possibly fixed automatically?
Best regards,
Sebastian
