no, i don't mean anything like that. IIRC audiosuite does "destructive"
FX - it actually writes new audio data to disk. 

i am talking about samplitude's capability to have plugins attached to
regions, not just to tracks+busses. any data read from the region gets
fed through the plugin(s) first.
