[ardour-users] running ardour and linux w/out internet

So find one system that works.
IE: Fervent software, for one, load it up.
Disconnect your pc from the net and just use this for four years.
You don't have to keep updating.

Ardour will happily play along.
So will Audacity.
All on FC2/3 and 1 I think is still being used.

If it works stay with it.
