Lower than what? Also have yo made sure to max out the gain in ardour's
master track? ALso have a try with jamming to increase the gain a bit
with the lookahead limiter (if you prefer loudness over a correct signal
(which most commercial studios do seem to prefer (except for serious
music like jazz or classical))).
