Hi for everybodies info 

Nicolas Jouanne sent me an URL where I could find more user info re ardour (many thanks to Nicolas)  : http://www.djcj.org/LAU/ardour/ .  This was great help!!!

If any body needs info re installation on suse 9.0  please contact me !! ...but also e-mail it to the usergroup since I am getting ADSL installed and will have a different e-mail address in about 2 weeks time
