I'll second that, although a dual processor system feels more smooth under cpu 
load. I would get a dual system with relatively slow processors, opterons 
244's i.s.o 250's, and spend the extra cash on a good fanless multi-head 
graphics card. And get good monitors, both audio and video.

And if you have so much cash that you can get the best of everything, you 
should consider making a paypall contribution to Paul Davis and the other 
developers :)
