Hi,
OK, then consider some inexpensive work horse AD/DA converters,
like the Beringher's or the Alesis AI-3 for your normal input/output
paths, and consider one good quality, more expensive D/A for your
monitor path running off the spdif path of the HDSP9652. Fat city!
Give some consideration to clocking these things. Even if you don't
have the money today, what are the clock options for the future? Will
you deliver the clock over ADAT? Word Clock? Make sure that what you
buy today has the right clock inputs to give you the performance and
stability you will want in the future.
I use and HDSP9652 and deliver clocks over ADAT and spdif. It works
fine day to day. Still, I wish I had more Word Clock inputs on my
equipment.
Cheers,
Mark
