[ardour-dev] Cannot use translation

These seem to be the important lines.  Where does the file get installed?  
/usr/local/share/locale/sv_SE/LC_MESSAGES/gtk_ardour.mo?  Maybe instead of sv_SE.po, it should be named sv_SE.UTF-8.po instead.

I've made a feeble attempt to translate Ardour into swedish. 
gtk_ardour.po is translated, but nowhere near ready to be used by anyone 
else.

What I wanted to do was try to use it in Ardour. This did not work.
Only portions of Ardour are translated.
