[ardour-dev] Cannot use translation

open("/usr/local/share/locale/sv_SE.UTF-8/LC_MESSAGES/gtk_ardour.mo", O_RDONLY) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)
open("/usr/local/share/locale/sv_SE.utf8/LC_MESSAGES/gtk_ardour.mo", O_RDONLY) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)

These seem to be the important lines. Where does the file get installed?
/usr/local/share/locale/sv_SE/LC_MESSAGES/gtk_ardour.mo? Maybe instead of sv_SE.po, it should be named sv_SE.UTF-8.po instead.

Subject: [ardour-dev] Cannot use translation

I've made a feeble attempt to translate Ardour into swedish.
gtk_ardour.po is translated, but nowhere near ready to be used by anyone

What I wanted to do was try to use it in Ardour. This did not work.
Only portions of Ardour are translated.

Here is the file: http://findus.dhs.org/~odd/gtk_ardour-sv_SE.po

Here's an strace log of what happens when I try to open Ardour with
sv_SE.UTF-8 locale settings.

Could someone try to see if it works?
