[Ardour-Users] External sync from another DAW: Ardour song pointer should follow ?

When Ardour is synced externally via jack from another DAW it will
start its transport when the other DAW starts. However, should the song
pointer in Ardour also follow the external DAW song pointer ?

For instance, they both start at 0, play for a few seconds then stop.
Both DAWs will stop at 00:05. Now the external DAW behaves in such a
way that when play is resumed, it will restart at 0. But Ardour will
continue from 00:05.

Should Ardour receive the song pointer information from the other DAW
and restart at the same at 0 ?
