No.  Nothing related to the Amiga.

Yes.  For instance, pouring out water (eg. activating the electric
pump) doe snot cause any problem.  The electronic realms, IMHO, of
a water warmer, even one that boasts a 'micro computerized temperature
control system', and CPU-grade components are very different.  And the
ground path is quite good.
