[Ardour-Users] LV2 plugin state

in LV2, all parameter changes are supposed to be routed via the host. If
this does not happen, then the host cannot automate the plugin from the
plugin's own editor.

so a properly written LV2 (and AudioUnit) plugin notifies the host when its
GUI/editor wants to change a parameter.
