I don't know if jack allows to include external software, when
exporting, at least for hardware connected by jack this can't work,
since e.g. the delay time of an external hardware reverb is fixed and
doesn't fit to "faster than realtime". However, even if Ardour + jack +
external software allows an export, why not simply recording it, before
exporting? There would be no loss as we know it from the analog domain,
the possible issue within the digital domain are dithering, borked
lightpipe cables, bad sync etc., so simply try to record everything,
perhaps you do not experience an issue.
