[Ardour-Users] Move two Mono regions into one Stereo region?

Hi,

 is there a way to drag two Mono regions of the same length into one
stereo region in ardour4?

I'm aware that I could export/bounce and reimport, but there are many
regions and edits and it would be much easier if it was possible
directly. I wouldn't even mind doing it in the xml source if that is
safe...
