[Ardour-Users] User interface suggestion

Hello,

  See attached.  It could be nice - and a more efficient way of
displaying available information - if the empty black space could be
filled by other items from the tabs.  In the screenshot for instance,
the bottom part could show the groups.  Or whichever other tab choice
there are available. 

  It's not obvious how to put this into the UI though.  Clicking on a
tab will put the tab's information in the column.  How to put another
tab information beneath the one that is currently shown ?  Ah, maybe by
right-clicking on a tab.  Right-clicking would add the tab's
information beneath whichever tab information is already showing. Then
when the column space is filled, it should not be possible to add
anything else - or will it simply replace the top one ?  Then there's
the issue of removing tab information from the column.

  In any case, and if more or less easily possible, it could be nice to
have more otherwise available tab information displayed in the column
instead of empty black space.  That's my suggestion.
