At least I don't know what he's missing, perhaps other software would
fit to his needs. JFTR, I also haven't seen any professional or amateur
engineer using Qtractor, only I'm doing it in the milieu I'm living.

But Robin's hints are related to the USB issue.

Perhaps you should use the same software as Lady Gaga does? If you can't
tell what you are missing for Ardour, Qtractor or any (other) free as in
beer and open source software, nobody can help you.
