John,

I can't remember, which probably means I hit delete. I went through
the session file & deleted the relevant lines which cleared them from
the regions list & reduced the error file a bit. At that stage I still
couldn't add a new track to load any imports into but the system ran
(after a fashion).

I then deleted the correct import tracks from the system the correct
way & could then add tracks & the system ran again. However the system
is now more unstable than it was before so if it persists I'll do a
re-install.
