Ok. Tell me as soon as you know then, and hopefully soon, because we
need to submit the project proposition very soon (with my current
schedule/timezone, to be sure not to miss the deadline, I might do so
in about 12 hours).

Anyway I can tell you you would be a perfect fit. Someone with your
experience is exactly what could help make a great and diverse
documentation.
As I said, each FLOSS project has often a quite ok/good individual
doc, but it is very difficult to find doc and examples on workflows,
mixing several programs. Having your experience is valuable.

Note that we have already another participant: Francesco Siddi, who
worked as artist/compositor/animator on the Tears of Steel movie from
the Blender foundation. 2 more spots are available, according to the
summit rules.

I would guess that you know of these projects because you worked with
them. :-) But thanks for the hints, I will search in these direction,
looking if they are already providing some resource on their
blog/website.
I probably (and unfortunately) won't have time to contact them before
the deadline though, because I am going to leave soon and won't have
internet before evening (as I told, I am traveling right now). But I
will definitely try to do so to gather information later.
Nevertheless if you want to include them in the proposition, and if
they wish to participate to the doc summit project, feel free to
forward them my message and propose them to contact me.

You are right. I forwarded to the users ml just now, and CC the
current answer as well.
Thanks.
