If you know that it's arrogant then why did you post it?

Some people who have achieved a high degree of proficiency in their chosen 
field like to demean the efforts of those with less proficiency. Some like to 
encourage and nurture those who are not yet as proficient. This polarisation 
of attitudes is very marked among virtuoso musicians. I know who I respect.
I am 60 and still very much learning.
