[Ardour-Users] a few thoughts

This thread is developing a tone that saddens me. I have nothing to add to or
take away from the legitimate technical content that has already been
expressed but I feel that the original poster is being treated just a little
unfairly.
Here we have a 24 year old man trying to put in a little positive feedback.
That should be encouraged. If he misses the mark through inexperience then I
would call that naivety not arrogance. Even Paul, who I admire greatly for his
ability to answer the dumbest of questions in these forums with
patience and respect, seems to be rattled and taking it personally.

If you want arrogance then how about:

" Agreed. I wonder how much real work-flow experience Mr. Petrosillo even
has to be making these sweeping statements."

"I bet you haven't, though."

"I don't think that really gives users the right to
whinge about software that does not pander to their opinion
Moaning just wastes everyone's time.

This is not directed at anyone in particular, but if the hat fits feel
free to wear it :=)"

I didn't hear anybody moan or whinge, just make suggestions that others don',t
agree with.

It seems that the original poster is getting a bit riled now. I'm not
surprised but if we all have so much experience then why don't we all behave
with a bit more maturity.
