What compatibility issues? I use 64-bit on one of my machines (mainly
for video & graphics), and haven't run into any compatibility issues.
I even run 32-bit Windows apps under Wine (Zbrush) and they run fine
on 64-bit Linux. I do still use 32-bit for my audio workstation but
that is changing soon.
