[Ardour-Users] Resampling in Ardour

I started using Ardour on mac and noticed that re-sampling through 
export doers not seem to work.
I usually record at 96KHz 0r 192KHz and choose options for re-sampling 
in the export window.
While it works fine in linux (I am still using version 2.4), it does not 
work on mac
in versions 2.8.10 and 2.8.11. Is this intentional or an error?
If it is intentional, could anyone please suggest how to reduce sampling 
rate to 44.1 KHz?
