Leigh (and others), ardour3 SVN now contains the basic infrastructure
for this, currently only accessible via a "MIDI socket" button next to
the input button on a MIDI mixer strip. other locations will emerge
shortly. Disabling the MIDI input means that the MIDI port(s) used for
track input ignore *all* incoming data of every kind.
