Not that it helps to track it down, but I can confirm the exact same
behaviour. So I am one of (1) - "someone experiencing this as well".
jackdmp 1.9.8, ardour3 alpha9
The error msg is certainly coming from jackd2 (it fails to
activate/signal the next client). how ardour3 manages to cause this is
not clear [to me].
