[Ardour-Users] Automatic add of tracks and recording

Hi,

Mostly I record me and my friends and I'm behind the wheel. But when I'm alone 
and record myself (especially song tracks) I would like Ardour to loop the 
song (or part of it) and start a new track with record pushed every time the 
loop starts over. Is there a way to do this in Ardour already or is a feature 
request? I have no problem if it's doable with a script.
