I'm sorry if I offended, it wasn't intended, I'm only suggesting an option which 
might make installing audio software a bit easier, everyone's choice of system 
is very much their own!

Of course you can use Stable for audio, it only means you have to make a bit 
more effort to get the software you want from elsewhere if you want current 
versions.
