[Ardour-Users] melodyne with ardour, anyone?

melodyne is mind-boggling.
i have the utmost respect for its author.

it's almost as brilliant as the teller-ulam design.
likewise, we'd all be happier if it had never been invented.

i propose that proliferation should be handled with great care, until
the day it can finally be banned altogether.

however, until that happens, in a time of mutually assured correction,
it's what gets jobs done and makes clients happy. so after losing lots
of sleep, tufts of hair and shards of brain over a botched track i
needed to fix over easter, i'm finally (gasp!) considering to buy it
*iff* i can fit it into my friendly neighborhood audio workstation.

has anyone been so bold as to try a melodyne vst in wine?
