[Ardour-Users] Ardour for iPad?

While we're on the topic (sorta):

What ever happened to the idea of an iPhone/iPod Touch app that functions as
a control surface for Ardour? Is it being developed? Is it something that's
possible with the current version of Ardour, or will it have to wait for
3.0?

Assuming that it will be open source, I'd love to help (I'm an iPhone
developer)...
