[Ardour-Users] does reverse leave audio untouched

Hi

Simple question:

If I reverse a pattern (or clip or a piece of audio, don't know the 
actual term) and then reverse it again (not undo'ing), will the result 
be 100%, bit for bit, exactly the same as before the double reverse?

I think and hope the answer is "yes", but I need to ask.
