Thanks Paul.  I found that dialog and it worked well.  I did find a bug in
it unfortunately - though only a minor one.  I'll add it to Mantis a bit
later.

I spent some time playing with the various modes but to be honest, I
couldn't make any sense of them.  However, I haven't yet read that document
that you pointed me to so I'll do that a bit later, too.

In the meantime....  after doing the above experiments I closed my session.
But now, whenever I re-open it, I get this error message which I've never
seen before:-

[ERROR]: could not reconstitute MementoCommand from XMLNode. object type =
N6ARDOUR5CurveE id = 41672

Do you know what this means?
