My Abit AN78 MoBo comes with  an onboard GeForce 8200 chipset. I never managed 
to get dualhead working on this when I built the machine a year ago (despite 
the manual saying that it supports "nView Multi-Display Technology"). So I 
gave up and installed a second hand Quadro NVS 280 that I picked up for 
£14.99 on Ebay. Pragmatism! I'd rather be recording music than fiddling with 
code to make the system work.

In the past I used Matrox cards but stopped when Matrox stopped supporting 
newer versions of X. (My card needed the Matrox HAL layer to be seen as Dual 
head. Can't remember which card it was. It's in the junk box somewhere.
