The plugins seemed to be reenabled for me when I unfroze things,
judging by the "greyed-out-ness" of the plugins in the mixer
window when frozen, and then returning to their previous look
when unfrozen.  I should open up a plugin dialog to see if it
follows there, and take a careful listen too.
