1) I have a session I'd recorded in Ardour2 (v2.1) a few months back,
using the binary from CCRMA on Fedora 7. I opened it up today and am
getting this error:
[ERROR]: Unable to create all required ports
[ERROR]: Session "/home/idragosani/music/alhazred/silver_key/yesilim
(snapshot yesilim)" did not load successfully
And this is showing on the console:

duplicate port name in port registration request
How do I determine which port has been duplicated? Do I need to edit
the XML in my session file?
2) I built Ardour2.3 today from source today, and it is also
exhibiting the same problem described above. Also, I turned on
Tranzport support in 2.3 but can't get it work. I have followed the
instructions for the hotplug script, and when I plug the Tranzport in
I get this is /var/log/messages:
Mar 30 12:28:53 localhost kernel: usb 4-1: new low speed USB device
using uhci_hcd and address 8
Mar 30 12:28:53 localhost kernel: usb 4-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
and this shows on the console when I startup 2.3:
ardour: [INFO]: Control surface protocol discovered: "Tranzport"
But when I turn on Tranzport control surface through the GUI, I get
this error message:
[ERROR]: control protocol name "Tranzport" could not be initialized
And this is printed at the console:
Tranzport: cannot claim USB interface
Under /proc/bus/usb/devices, the device is listed:
