Very very cool! I can't believe it took me this long to find that out.

I was using jack-rack for all my sidechain needs, but it was not automatable, and then I discovered AMS, which is very useful for nonlinear graphs of plugins and allows you to set up midi controllers for automation of parameters.

Having the option of doing things like sidechain compression purely in ardour is going to make things hugely simpler for me!! (especially if using ardour on non-linux platform Mac OS X where things like AMS are harder to get running)
