[Ardour-Users] apply button in import dialog

hi list,
i am realizing that we have a new 'apply' button in the import dialog.
for me it does not make so much sense, cause the 'apply' button does 
almost the same as the 'ok' button. so if i choose some files for import 
and press 'apply' the files will be imported and the import dialog stays 
opened, but if now i press 'ok' the files will be imported one more time 
and the dialog gets closed.
perhaps i misunderstood something?
