Interesting. My "Liberation.ardour" file contains these lines in the
<Sources> section:
<Source name="OH R-12.wav" id="179556291" timestamp="1157687532" captured-for="OH R" flags="" channel="0"/>
<Source name="/home/kevinc/Music/Projects/KevinF/CD-Subtle_Hint/Liberation/Liberation/sounds/77-drumkit.wav" id="512158117" flags="" channel="0"/>
I hadn't noticed until now that some of the source files have full
paths and others have relative paths, which apparently are assumed to
be in ./sounds where the *.ardour file is also in ./Liberation.ardour.
One thing in common with the full path file specifications is that
they are all files which either came from another band member which I
had to read into ardour, or they are files which I bounced out via
export and read back in.
