[ardour-users] A decent sound card for Ardour

I typed "sudo apt-get install alsa-utils" and got a message saying that I'm
already up to date.  However, I don't seem to have hdspmixer.  What would
I need to do to get it?

I do have something called alsa-mixer but it doesn't seem to do very much.
