[ardour-users] MMC adn the DM24

Hi,

use your tascam to generate MTC.
Go to midi/mc->machine control
and create a MTC generate from the supported devices menu.
The midi out from the tascam plugs into the midi-in of your soundcard and is the rerouted to the ardour seq from jack midi.
You the have to set ardour to be slave to MTC and voila!

Ive been trying to get the play button working on my DM24. I know it
works, I saw it work on Ron P's system. But I can not get mine to
work :-(

I know that the DM24 is sending the codes, or at least the midi input
light blinks when I hit the buttons. I know the DM24 is recieving MTC,
because the clock syncs with Ardour. 

When I turn tracing on, I can see commands coming from Ardour, but I do
not see any coming from the DM24, even though the midi input on the RME
is getting them.

In the connections window, of jack, I connect the midi input to the
Ardour seq input. The Ardour seq output goes to midi output.

Any suggestions on what I may be doing wrong?
