[ardour-users] Jack Control Problem

Hi All,
I'm new to Ardour/Jack so please be gentle... ;-]

On an Ubuntu Dapper install hooked up to a Hoontech ST Audio DSP24 
(Ice1712/Envy chipset), when trying to start Jack Control, I get the 
following error messages...
