Hear hear! I occasionally have to venture into the Windows world and
quickly become frustrated when some things which I can do BY DEFAULT
with Linux + jack + Ardour + Rosegarden can't be done on Windows with
Finale + Cakewalk. Luckily, I only use that Windows combination on my
laptop for composing and as a musical scratchpad... when it comes to
production recording and sequencing, it's Linux all the way.

Ardour 2 looks fantastic, BTW, and I am getting a Tranzport soon and
making the transition. I am probably going to use Ardour 0.99.3 for a
couple of existing projects but new stuff will be done in the newer
version.
