64 bit works fine, but :

	a) no CCRMA support for x86_64
	b) no VST plugins, ever
	c) no video playback of anything except theora and a few others

i use 64 bit but i have several other 32 bit machines to fill in the
gaps. for an easy life, i'd recommend 32 bit. performance might be
slightly reduced but convenience will increase notably.
